I wish that prices weren't so high for graphics cards right now. I got this for around 700 and I believe it retails for around 400 but these are the times we live in. It is a huge upgrade from my old gtx 680 and it takes up less space than the 680. I have a midtower case and there is ample room leftover. The 12GB of vram is a welcome feature as Resident Evil Village uses about 6.5gb when topping off the graphics settings. The heat sinks seem to be well designed on this and the fans are fairly quiet when they are running. Overall it was a much needed and welcome upgrade to my gaming desktop.

Paying twice retail for the lowest end RTX 3 series hardly qualifies as "good value". But it's the times we're living in. This is not intended for gaming, it's for the handful of 3D apps that are dedicated to environment creation with some GPU rendering capabilities. As such, it's basically 'okay'. The card has 12GB of VRAM, and despite it's reduced support cores performs as advertised; it's no RTX 3090 with 24GB , but will have to do until I can acquire the increasingly scarce and increasingly expensive card.

When I got the card it worked great and proceeded to preform well. However, after a couple of days a weird sound like a grinding noise was coming from one of the fans. I took it out multiple times to find the source of the sound but could not find it. After time passed, I thought this would be a ticking time bomb for when one of the fans would stop working, so I returned the item. Overall, great card and would recommend if you want to deal with the annoying/worrying sound (if your card has that problem).

Scored a "For Parts" RTX 3060 on eBay, fingers crossed. Turns out, Just a bit of fixing it up and cleaning it brought this beast back to life! Performance is stellar, and my wallet thanks me (considering the repair). Not for the faint of heart: This requires some tech know-how and risk tolerance. Research, choose wisely, and be prepared for potential rabbit holes. But if you're up for the challenge: It can be incredibly rewarding! Just remember, proceed with caution and only if comfortable troubleshooting. Happy hunting

Works great, I haven't done an in-depth analysis of the card, but from benchmarks or long-term gameplay, it works great. I did have one strange hard crash most likely due to the card, but it was seemingly a one-off.
